  • Commercialise technology-based activities including biotechnology applications
  • Obtain funding
  • Step back from the day-to-day of running their business to review the past, assess the present, and identify new commercial opportunities.
Participating as a team
Organisations may enter a team of three to five people. A team of two may be accepted – conditions apply. A number of organisations enter a company team in the Workshop program either to examine a specific company project, or to develop entrepreneurial managers.

Participating as an individual
Individual participants can choose to work on a real business project that is relevant to their own interests, or work with others on a project of common interest. N.B. Understanding the elements of the business planning process is more important than the actual plan.
