Ian and Jeanette Crafter, Atlex Stockyards, participated in the Workshop in 1995. Atlex designs, manufactures and installs livestock handling systems at feedlots, abattoirs and saleyards around Australia.
Ian said, “The guest presenters were a valuable resource for all participants because they were active in their field rather than ‘academics’. The judging process was a tremendous experience that forced us to make our plan ‘market ready’. The Chief Judge in our Program is still our business mentor. We meet every three months to review our direction and results. He has been the strength behind our growth - he has kept our strategic planning focused.
