Who conducts the Workshop?

Speakers
Face-to-face sessions are conducted by senior practitioners who talk about the area of business in which they earn their living. These sessions cover the key elements of business practice. Speakers help participants understand what works in practice, what doesn’t and why!

Mentors
Mentors are a source of objective ‘board-level’ guidance and advice. A mentor is assigned to each project when the knowledge and skills levels of the participants have been assessed, and the project has been well-defined. This process facilitates the selection of a mentor - a ‘custom-fit’ for the project.

Review panellists
During the business plan development process panels of experienced business people provide independent reviews and constructive feedback on the progress made to date.

Judging
Participants develop negotiation and presentation skills as essential requirements for making a successful business pitch. These skills are tested in the judging process. The plan for each project is ‘pitched’ to and evaluated by an independent panel of senior business people. Constructive feedback on the business plan and the presentation is provided after the judging.
